Although unconventional, I love the way Elie Saab divisively separates the looks in his collection based on color. From cream to mustard to carrot to Forest green to eggplant, he gives women a variety of color palettes to play with. The best part: you can find an outfit for work, lunch, dinner, cocktail AND red carpet within each variation. That’s a smart business, man!

You know a designer is influential when you can unmistakably recognize his work even after his passing when *someone else* is designing his collection. Such is the case with Alexander McQueen. This collection had his hands all over it, kudos to Sarah Burton for being able to so masterfully visualize and replicate a master.
